All of our rubbers can have self-adhesive applied to one or both sides, we stock a range of self-adhesive options including 3M 9080.

All of our rubbers are purchased from our list of approved suppliers to enable quality continuity to our customers. We hold data sheets for each to enable us to provide the correct rubber for our customers’ requirements whether that be heat resistant, oil resistant or weather resistant. Mainly our customers would choose rubber materials for – gaskets ,seals, strips and washers.

Due to our extensive list of approved suppliers we can source many more foams than mentioned above that our customers may require.

Silicone Rubber

Silicone rubber is great for low and high temperature applications from -60°C up to 230°C. It has excellent chemical resistance making it generally non-reactive, thermally stable, and resistant to extreme environments while still maintaining its useful properties. Due to these properties and its ease of manufacturing and shaping, silicone rubber can be found in a wide variety of products, including voltage line insulators; automotive applications; electronics; medical devices; aerospace; food industry and implants;

Specific colour matching also available for large volumes of material

Viton

Products made with Viton™ fluoroelastomers retain their flexibility, shape, and seal when exposed to chemicals and high temperatures. It has unparalleled resistance to chemical and operating temperatures from -20 to 275°C. These properties make Viton material globally recognised across many industries, especially aerospace and energy. We stock only genuine Viton material. We stock this in thicknesses of 0.5mm up to 6mm thick, stock consists of 1.2m wide rolls and 1.4m wide rolls – but as ever, we can source other thicknesses and roll sizes. Viton can also have self-adhesive backing applied to it.

Abrasion Resistant rubber

Abrasion resistant rubber is heavily used in mining applications, quarry linings, chute lining, target backing curtains, scrapers, shotblast and wear strips. Available in a range of colours red, black and tan depending on the application required. In shore hardness A 38, 45 and 60. Our most popular abrasion resistant rubber is our high abrasion resistant red rubber available in cloth/cloth finish with similar properties to Linatex It shows outstanding resistance to abrasion, cut and tears.

SBR/ insertion

SBR is a general-purpose rubber sheet and used across most industries in many different forms including gaskets, seals, strips, bench coverings. It is also available with a cloth insertion ply throughout which gives added strength and resistance to the material application. Thickness range 1.5mm up to 50mm kept in stock. Standard colour kept in stock is black. White FDA approved grade also available. Can be supplied plain or with a self-adhesive backing on one or both sides.

Epdm rubber

Epdm has fantastic chemical resistant properties, it is unbeatable for ozone resistance and weathering. It is a copolymer which means it is both viscous and elastic. Two main components in the built up of Epdm is ethylene and propylene. We keep various grades of Epdm in stock such as, Semperit E2514 which is WRAS approved and Semperit E9566 which is a high-grade performance material which meets various automotive standards. We can also source various other grades of Epdm material including British Standard and Trelleborg. Our standard thicknesses in Epdm would be 1mm up to 12mm thick. As with many of our other materials we can produce a wide range of 2 dimensional shapes using Epdm material including gaskets, seals and strips.

Neoprene rubber

Neoprene is our most popular rubber and is used across most industries. It offers great protection against oils, chemical’s, fuel and ozone resistance. We have British standard grades available in stock along with commercial and some economy grades including flame retardant and FDA white. We can also source various other grades of Neoprene material including British Standard, Semperit and Trelleborg. We normally keep Neoprene in stock from 0.8mm thick up to 20mm thick. The standard colour kept in stock is black. We can make gaskets, seals, strips and other 2-dimensional shapes from Neoprene as standard. Can be supplied plain or with a self-adhesive backing on one or both sides.

Nitrile

Nitrile is a synthetic rubber known widely for its high fuel & oil resistant properties and tensile strength; it also has fantastic abrasion resistance. It is commonly used in the automotive industry for oil tankers and such, it is the largest industry using Nitrile rubber. We keep standard Nitrile in stock in thicknesses of 1mm to 12mm thick and can source various other grades including British standard, Semperit, FDA grade and Trelleborg.

From Nitrile we can produce bespoke parts including gaskets, washers’ seals and many more 2 dimensional parts.
